About

My love of flowers started as a child wandering around flower shops in Midland, Michigan. Glorious lilacs grew around our farmhouse and came in to welcome spring. We had lily of the valley growing in back of the outhouse and I grew ivy to cover it and use as a greenery.

I took flower classes at Delta College. In the fall of ‘93, I enrolled in the American Floral Arts School intensive course, where I got to live in the big city of Chicago. I loved riding the subway; it was so different from our small farming community where there were only four homes on my mile road.

I recently have been taking classes at LA Flower School. I became a Slow Flower Member and have attended three Summit’s around the country, helping learn about using locally grown flowers. I love telling floral stories and adding local garden touches to make florals a sensory experience. I’d love to help create a treasured memory with a unique floral event, wedding, or weekly delivery.
